How do I create a business account?

You can create a business account via the Holland Gold app or through our website. The steps required depend on what you want to use the account for:

  • buying or selling precious metals;
  • having precious metals stored for business purposes;
  • using the precious metals account.

Buying or selling precious metals as a business

When buying
If you buy precious metals without using our storage, for example because you have them delivered or collect them yourself, you do not need to create a separate business account and verification is not required. You can add your company name during the ordering process, so that it is shown on the invoice.

When selling
You also do not need to create a separate business account to sell precious metals. However, you do need to verify your identity, as we are legally required to do so.

Storing precious metals as a business or using the precious metals account for business purposes

Do you want to store precious metals with us for business purposes or use the precious metals account as a business? Then you need a business account.

Do you not yet have a personal account? First create an account via the Holland Gold app or our website. You can then add an extra business account from within your account.

Via the Holland Gold app: Open the Holland Gold app and click the profile icon in the top right-hand corner to go to your account details. Then select ‘Create extra account’. From the options that appear, choose a business account. Follow the steps for business verification.

Via the website: Log in on the website and go to ‘Settings’ in your account. Then select ‘Account management’ and click ‘Create extra account’. From the options that appear, choose a business account. Follow the steps for business verification.
