How can I place an order?

At Holland Gold, you can place an order in several ways: via our website, the Holland Gold App, or by phone. Ordering gold, silver, platinum, and palladium is simple and convenient. Our prices are automatically updated every minute according to the live market rates, ensuring that you always buy at the current price.

Ordering with or without an account

Through the website, you can order with or without an account. When using the app, you must first create an account before placing an order.

Choose your preferred delivery option. We can deliver securely to your home, you can collect your order at one of our offices in Alkmaar, Rotterdam, or Tilburg, or you can choose secure storage through Holland Gold Safe.

Step 4: Payment
Select your preferred payment method: iDEAL, bank transfer, PayPal, cryptocurrency, or cash/card payment upon collection.

Step 5: Delivery
The delivery process depends on the method selected at checkout:

  1. Storage: If you don’t yet have a storage account, you will receive an email to open one. Once the products are in stock, they will be added to your account. This usually takes a few business days after placing your order.
  2. Home delivery: You will receive an email allowing you to select your preferred delivery date.
  3. Collection: We will contact you by phone to schedule a pickup appointment. If your order is in stock, this typically takes 2–3 business days. You will then receive a confirmation email when your order is ready for collection, after which you can arrange your pickup date.

You can track the status of your order at any time via the client portal.

Ordering via the Holland Gold App

Through the app, you can buy bars and coins or easily trade physical precious metals via your precious metals account. You can start investing from as little as €10. Download the Holland Gold App from the Google Play Store or App Store.

Can I purchase precious metals anonymously or pay in cash at Holland Gold?

As of early 2026, it is no longer possible to purchase precious metals anonymously at Holland Gold. You may, however, pay in cash up to a maximum of €3,000 per order. Cash payments of €3,000 or more are not permitted by law.

How do I place an order with cash payment?

Add the desired products to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. Select the payment method cash/debit card and choose your preferred office location. Please note that only products that are in stock can be ordered.

For in-stock products, we will ship your order from our logistics center to your selected pick-up location in Alkmaar, Rotterdam, or Tilburg. Delivery typically takes 2 to 3 business days. Once your order has arrived at the selected office, you will receive an email notification. You can then schedule a pick-up appointment via your account. Payment is made at the time of collection, after which you may take the products with you immediately. Please bring a valid form of identification, your order number, and the amount due when collecting your order.

Important information regarding cash payments and collection

Strict regulations apply to cash payments in the Netherlands. We operate in accordance with applicable laws and the guidelines of the Dutch Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft). We therefore ask customers to limit cash purchases and refrain from making them on a monthly basis. A pick-up fee of €25 per order applies.

We are legally required to aggregate transactions made by spouses, as these are deemed to originate from the same assets. Cash transactions conducted within a period of 31 days are also aggregated. These are referred to as linked transactions. The combined total may not be equal to or exceed €3,000. Please note that €500 banknotes are not accepted.

How can I sell my gold and silver to Holland Gold?

You can sell your precious metals to Holland Gold in various ways. We purchase bars and coins and also offer a buyback guarantee on everything we sell. When you place a sell order, the process depends on the delivery method.

You can deliver the precious metals at our office, have them securely, discreetly, and insured collected from your home, or sell them directly from storage. Below you can find the different sales methods explained.

Selling bars and coins

Insured, safe, and discreet collection by our delivery specialist

If you choose to have your bars and coins collected securely and insured, the sale process is as follows:

  1. Determine the value: use the sell gold and sell silver page to calculate the value of your precious metals.
  2. Fix the sale price: call us to confirm the price by phone.
  3. Schedule the collection day: once the price has been fixed, you can immediately plan a collection day.
  4. Package the metals: pack the precious metals securely in a sturdy cardboard box. The delivery specialist will bring the shipping label.
  5. Collection by the delivery specialist: the evening before, between 17:00 and 21:00, you will receive an email with a 4-digit code and a two-hour time slot. The driver will provide the code to you, after which you can hand over the package. Once the package has been scanned, you will receive a confirmation email. From that moment, the package is under continuous supervision. 
  6. Create and verify your account: if you do not yet have an account, you must create and verify one. This ensures we know which bank account to transfer the funds to, and a valid ID is required for verification under the Dutch “Anti-Fencing Act”.
  7. Inspection: the precious metals will be checked for authenticity.
  8. Payment: the amount will be transferred to your registered bank account, and you will receive a confirmation once completed.

Delivering to our office

You can also choose to bring the bars and coins to one of our offices yourself. This sales process is as follows:

  1. Determine the value: use the sell gold and sell silver page to calculate the value of your precious metals.
  2. Fix the sale price: call us to confirm the price by phone.
  3. Schedule the delivery day: once the price has been fixed, you can immediately plan a delivery day.
  4. Create and verify your account: this can be done through the website or at our office.
  5. Inspection: the precious metals will be checked for authenticity.
  6. Payment: we transfer the amount to your bank account the same day. You can also opt for a cash payment. Please note: cash payments are only possible up to a maximum of €2,950 and must be arranged in advance.

Selling from storage

If your precious metals are stored with us, the sales process is as follows:

  1. Determine the value: use the sell gold and sell silver page to calculate the value of your precious metals.
  2. Place a sell order: call us to place your sell order.
  3. Payment: we transfer the amount to your registered counter account on the same day.

Selling from your precious metals account

Do you have precious metals in your account? You can trade 24/7 via the customer portal or the Holland Gold App, even when Holland Gold offices are closed. Place a sell order in the app or customer portal, and the funds will be in your account within one business day. 

How often are the prices adjusted?

The prices on the website are updated every minute and are linked to the underlying Real-time quotes of the precious metal in question. 

Can I order by phone?

Yes, you can place your order by phone at Holland Gold. First, select the products you wish to purchase and then contact us by phone. We are available from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00 at +31 (0)88 468 8400.
