Before a gold bar is delivered to your home, the gold has come a special way. Because less and less gold is mined, recycling plays an increasingly important role in the gold market. Our companies Elephant Refinery and BGP Edelmetaal are responsible for the recycling and refining of precious metals. They extract gold in the highest purity from scrap gold such as old jewellery and electronics. This recovered gold, also known as secondary gold, is sent to the producers and suppliers of Holland Gold. These producers use this gold to make 'new' bars and coins. The gold bar of C.Hafner (with LBMA quality mark) or silver Canadian Maple Leaf purchased from Holland Gold becomes a Dutch circular product.
