How does the collection process work at Holland Gold?

The precious metals you sell to Holland Gold are collected discreetly, securely and fully insured from the address of your choice by our dedicated delivery specialist.

We collect precious metals throughout the Netherlands, with the exception of the islands, and across a large part of Belgium. Collections take place on business days between 09:00 and 20:00. The available collection days depend on your postcode area.

Have your precious metals collected from home in 7 steps

1. Sell: Sell your gold, silver, platinum or palladium online via our Sell to us page, where you can lock in your price 24/7. Alternatively, contact us by phone during office hours on +31 88 468 8400.
2. Schedule a collection date: Choose a collection date while confirming your sale online, or arrange one with a member of our team by phone. You can change the date later through your account.
3. Code and time slot: Between 17:00 and 21:00 on the evening before collection, you will receive an email with a two-hour time slot and a 4-digit security code.
4. Pack your precious metals: Pack your precious metals securely in a cardboard box so that the driver can easily attach the seal used for internal tracking.
5. Collection and code verification: When the driver arrives, they will provide you with the 4-digit security code. If it matches the code in your email, you can safely hand over your package.
6. Collection confirmation: You will receive an email confirming that your package has been collected.
7. Receipt and inspection confirmation: You will receive a second confirmation once your sale has arrived at our head office and has been inspected. This usually takes place within two business days of collection.

The inspection will always be completed within a maximum of 3 business days. Once your identification and bank account details have been verified and the inspection has been completed, payment will be made immediately. The funds will usually reach your account the same day. Payments to foreign bank accounts may take longer to process.
