The delivery method you choose determines how you will be kept informed about your order and which actions you may still need to take. Your order confirmation contains additional information about this process. Each delivery method follows a different procedure, but you can always track your order status via the track-and-trace feature in your client portal.
How will I be updated about my order when I choose home delivery?
You can track your order status at any time via the track & trace in your client portal or in the Holland Gold App.
- Order placed: you receive an order confirmation explaining the next steps.
- Payment processing: iDEAL payments are processed instantly; bank transfers may take up to two business days.
- Payment confirmation: the track & trace for your order shows when the payment has been processed.
- Products in stock: once the products are available, you receive an email to schedule a delivery date.
- Order ready for shipment: you receive a message inviting you to select your delivery day through the client portal.
- Delivery day confirmed: once you have chosen your delivery date, you receive a confirmation by email.
- Package packed: one business day before delivery, you receive an email confirming that your package has been packed and will be delivered the next business day.
- Time slot and verification code: the evening before delivery, you receive an email with your time slot and a four-digit verification code, which you must provide to the courier upon delivery.
- Day of delivery: you receive a message that your package has left our logistics centre. In the Netherlands and most of Belgium, you will also receive a pincode to provide to the courier. Please ensure you or someone else is available at the time of delivery.
- Package en route: you receive a notification once the courier is almost at your location.
- Delivery confirmation: once your order has been delivered, you receive an email confirmation.

You can track your order status at any time via the track & trace in your client portal or in the Holland Gold App.
- Order placed: you receive an order confirmation explaining the next steps.
- Payment processing: iDEAL payments are processed instantly; bank transfers may take up to two business days.
- Payment confirmation: the track & trace for your order shows when the payment has been processed.
- Account setup: if you don’t yet have a storage account, you will receive an email to create one. If you already have an account, no further action is required.
- Products in stock: once the products are available, we arrange transport to the storage facility.
- Products in storage: in the track & trace within your client portal or app, you can see when your order has arrived and been added to your account. Your precious metals will then appear in your portfolio.
How will I be updated about my order when I choose office pickup?
You can track your order status at any time via the track & trace in your client portal or in the Holland Gold App.
- Order placed: you receive an order confirmation explaining the next steps.
- Payment processing: iDEAL payments are processed instantly; bank transfers may take up to two business days. If you choose to pay at our office, your track & trace status will remain unchanged.
- Products in stock: once the products are available, we arrange transport to our office location. Please note that no stock is kept at our offices.
- Schedule pickup: once your order has arrived at the office, you receive an email. You can then contact us by phone to schedule a pickup date.
