Is my precious metal at Holland Gold Safe fully my property and exclusively allocated to me (100% allocated)?

Yes, precious metals that you store with Holland Gold Safe are fully your property. Your gold, silver, platinum and palladium are 100% allocated, fully assigned to you, and insured for the full replacement value.

There are two forms of storage within Holland Gold Safe:

  1. Precious metals in the precious metals account
Gold, silver, platinum and palladium in the precious metals account are your full legal property. You own grams of precious metals from physical bars that are securely stored in Switzerland.
  2. Individual bars and coins in storage
Bars and coins that are added to your storage account are fully your property. For bars, the unique bar numbers are linked to your account. For coins, the sealbag numbers are registered.

Via the customer portal and the Holland Gold app, you always have insight into your holdings. Where applicable, you can also see the bar numbers and sealbag numbers.

How are ownership and 100% allocation guaranteed?

Precious metals stored with Holland Gold Safe are audited annually by an independent accountant.

Our storage locations in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Singapore meet the highest international K-10 security standards. We work with specialised international storage and transport companies, such as Loomis and Brink’s.

Holland Gold Safe operates on the basis of an AFM licence for precious metals in combination with storage. In addition, Stichting Derdengelden Holland Gold Safe has been established as an independent extra layer of control for the sale, delivery and collection of precious metals from storage.

This structure helps to clearly record your ownership and protect your interests in relation to storage, sale and delivery.
