When selling precious metals to Holland Gold, you can verify your identity with a valid proof of identity during an office visit or through the digital verification process in your online account. To do this, create a Holland Gold account or log in and click on ‘Verify your account’. You can complete the online verification quickly and securely through our app or website, and it only takes a few minutes.

Can I submit my proof of identity by email?

Are you unable to complete the verification through the app or website? In that case, you can also submit it by email. To comply with strict privacy legislation, the GDPR, you are required to hide your citizen service number (BSN).

To do this, use the official KopieID app from the Dutch government and follow these steps:

1. Download the KopieID app from the Dutch government on your phone.
2. Take a photo of your proof of identity.
3. Add the date to the image, together with the text “Holland Gold buyback”.
4. Hide your BSN number.
5.Download the secured image from the app.
6. Reply to the buyback confirmation you received from us by email, attaching the image and including the bank account number to which the amount can be transferred.
