Are there any hidden fees when selling precious metals to Holland Gold?

When you sell precious metals back to Holland Gold, there are no hidden fees. On the sell gold, sell silver and sell platinum and palladium pages, you can see the prices we offer for all bars and coins when you sell them back to us. This page also explains how the sales costs for the precious metals account are structured.

Sales costs for bars and coins

The prices on the sell to us page include all costs and show the price you receive per bar or coin.

Once you choose ‘Complete sale’, you start the sales process and first see an overview showing all costs and the buyback price.

Depending on the chosen delivery method, you pay a fixed additional amount:

• Delivery at an office: €25. This amount includes administrative, processing and logistics costs.
• Insured collection: €25 per 20 kg of weight
• Transport from storage: €36

You definitively lock in the amount you will receive by choosing ‘Confirm sale’. This is the actual amount you will receive from us, and you immediately receive confirmation of the sale by email.

Sales costs for the precious metals account

The costs of selling through the precious metals account consist of the price per gram, transaction fees and, for silver only, handling fees.

• (Selling) price per gram The price per gram when selling precious metals back to us is determined based on the market price minus various components such as transport from storage, price guarantee, insurance, slippage and our trading margin. As a result, the price you receive per gram is lower than the current market price.
• Transaction and handling fees when selling your precious metals Transaction fees apply to all precious metals. Handling fees apply only when buying and selling silver. View the transaction and handling fees for the precious metals account here.
