Syp Wynia: "Monetary and fiscal, we have all become Italians."

In this episode, Paul Buitink and Joris Beemsterboer talk to Syp Wynia, editor-in-chief of Wynia's Week, publisher at Blauwburgwal and in the past editor at Elsevier. Syp notes that the Netherlands has been in 'the armpit of Germany and France' for decades and that it is time to take a more independent course in Europe, for example by using veto rights and enforcing opt-outs like Denmark and Sweden.

Because of the euro, we already had Italy's monetary policy, and now we have added fiscal policy. Syp is worried about our democracy. He is also surprised at how we relate to the World Economic Forum (WEF).
