In this episode, Rob de Wijk is our guest. Rob is Professor of International Relations and founder of The Hague Centre for Strategic Studies. He elaborates on the origins of the war between Russia and Ukraine and describes various scenarios on how the war will develop in 2023.

He also explains how raw materials such as gas and oil are now being used as weapons and how the Russian army is now doing compared to the Ukrainian army. Finally, Paul and Rob discuss the role of Europe and NATO in all of this and what kind of dilemma we have ended up in.
