Kees de Kort on the war, propaganda, wrong energy policy and the role of Dutch politics

Paul Buitink talks to independent thinker and macroeconomist Kees de Kort about the war in Ukraine, the use of propaganda and the lack of broad information provision in the Netherlands. Kees thinks that Russia is in a stronger position than Western media would have you believe and explains on the basis of which sources he believes this. They both stress the importance of peace talks.

Furthermore, the gentlemen talk about the crucial role of energy and Kees mentions the wrong policy decisions of the Dutch government in the past decade with regard to the energy transition. Kees also denounces the free money and loose monetary policy. The rate hikes come too late as far as he is concerned. Kees believes that it is time for the government to make policy that is in the interest of Dutch citizens.
