Jean Wanningen: "Are you prepared to bring 50 billion a year to the European family?"

In this episode, Jean Wanningen is our guest. Jean is an economist and author, known for the books: "The Eurofraud" and "Eurodynamics". Apart from this, he is the advisor to MEP Michiel Hoogeveen of JA21. In this video we take a closer look at the history of the euro and how the euro has been implemented in an undemocratic way according to Jean.

We are also talking about the development of Eurobonds. Jean expects that we, as Europe, will issue more and more joint debt securities. He elaborates on the consequences and costs of the impending transfer union into which we are sucked, which he estimates at up to 50 billion euros per year for the Netherlands. Jean, however, is not in favor of a Nexit. His solution is a treaty change that would make it possible to enforce the Stability and Growth Pact more closely. Finally, Jean expresses his concerns about high inflation and the government's poor policies.
