Frank Knopers on scarcity and price increases in the West, Houthi rebels and Suez Canal

In this episode, Sven Kuijpers talks to Frank Knopers. They discuss the recent attacks on ships in the Red Sea by Houthi rebels. As a result, many shipping companies choose to avoid the Suez Canal and sail all the way around the Cape. Frank doesn't see a quick solution, he thinks it's not up to the US but the BRICS countries to solve it.

For example, Egypt has an interest in a quick end to the situation, but Iran supports the attacks of the Houthi rebels. Finally, Sven and Frank talk about the newly elected president in Argentina, Javier Milei. Milei wants to make drastic changes in Argentina and applies a libertarian philosophy. Frank indicates that when you listen to extensive speeches by Milei, you get a different picture than the picture painted of him by the mainstream media.
