Holland Gold Revamps Website with Important New Features

As you may already have noticed, the Holland Gold website has been completely renewed. Over the past few years, we have significantly expanded our services. While Holland Gold started out as an online shop, we have grown into a complete trading platform for physical precious metals.

You can still buy physical bars and coins from us, but with the renewed website and the Holland Gold app, investing in physical gold, silver, platinum or palladium is easier than ever. Together, our offices, the renewed website and the Holland Gold app form one integrated system.

This brings all investment options together in one clear overview. This makes it easy to choose the investment method that best suits your preferences and budget. With the new features, we are making the buying, selling and managing of physical precious metals simpler, more accessible and more secure.

The most important new features are:

1. Sell your bars and coins online 24/7, including from storage
   Via our ‘Sell to us’ page, you can now lock in the selling price of your gold, silver, platinum and palladium online. This applies to precious metals you keep at home, manage yourself or have stored with Holland Gold.
   
   
2. Buy precious metals from €10 via the online shop
   For your precious metals account in Switzerland, you can now purchase precious metals through the online shop from as little as €10. Instead of buying by the gram, you can now choose the amount in euros that you wish to invest.
   
   
3. Secure login with fingerprint or Face ID via laptop or PC (passkey)
   You can now use passkeys to log in securely and easily using, for example, Face ID, your fingerprint or the security features of your laptop or PC.
   
   
4. All options clearly brought together
   From physical coins and bars to buying precious metals from €10: the renewed website clearly shows all the available options. This makes it easier to choose what best suits your preferences and budget.

1. Sell precious metals entirely online

The most important update is that you can now sell precious metals to Holland Gold entirely online. Previously, you had to contact us by telephone to lock in the selling price. This was only possible during office hours.

You can now start selling gold, silver, platinum or palladium online via ‘Sell to us’. You can lock in the price 24/7, including in the evening or at weekends.

The benefits are:

• lock in the selling price 24/7;
• the price is fixed once you have confirmed;
• receive immediate confirmation by email;
• choose a date online for collection from your home or delivery to one of our offices;
• online verification of your identification document and bank account;
• also suitable for selling precious metals held in storage with Holland Gold.

How does selling precious metals online work?

You can sell your precious metals online in 5 steps:

1. Go to ‘Sell to us’ and enter the products you wish to sell.
2. Click ‘Sell now’ and check the overview of your sale.
3. Enter your details and the bank account number for payment.
4. Choose insured collection from your home, delivery to one of our offices or sale from storage at Holland Gold Safe.
5. Click ‘Complete sale’ to lock in the price.

Once you have confirmed, the price will no longer change and the sale to Holland Gold becomes binding. You will immediately receive a purchase confirmation by email. Are your details not yet known to us? You can then securely verify your identity online.

Will Holland Gold remain available by telephone?

Yes, Holland Gold will remain available by telephone as you are accustomed to. You can reach us on +31 88 468 8400, Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.

You will also continue to be able to lock in your sale to Holland Gold by telephone in the future.

2. Buy precious metals from €10

In addition to selling online, buying through the online shop is also becoming easier. You can now buy gold, silver, platinum or palladium from €10 for your precious metals account in Switzerland.

This is available via:

• Buy gold from €10 in insured storage in Switzerland
• Buy silver from €10 in insured storage in Switzerland
• Buy platinum from €10 in insured storage in Switzerland
• Buy palladium from €10 in insured storage in Switzerland

The purchased precious metal is added to your precious metals account and securely stored in Switzerland.

3. Secure login with passkeys

At Holland Gold, you can now also log in securely using your fingerprint, Face ID or the security features of your smartphone or laptop.

This method of logging in is called a passkey. You can set up a passkey by logging in to our website. Then go to ‘Settings’ and, under ‘Security’, select the option to add a passkey.

Passkeys make logging in easier and increase the security of your account.
