Bob de Wit on Society 4.0, regional solutions and giving power back to citizens

Paul Buitink talks to Bob de Wit, Professor of Strategic Leadership at Nyenrode Business University, about his latest book Society 4.0. In this conversation, they will elaborate on the various transitions we have gone through as a society and the role of the people in this. According to Bob, we are now in a phase where we are moving from the industrial age to the digital age.

The question is whether it will be a top-down society with agendas set by large companies and NGOs or whether it will go bottom-up through the citizen. For example, in his book "Society 4.0" he describes that regional collaborations and solutions will become increasingly important, if we work hard for them. Finally, they elaborate on the pros and cons of local money and having a single world currency.
