For the technical execution of identity verification we use Rabobank Identity Services as a processor, which in turn engages Fourthline B.V. as a sub-processor. Fourthline processes your identity document and carries out a liveness check for verification purposes. This may involve the processing of biometric data (Article 9 GDPR). The legal basis for this is Article 9(2)(g) GDPR (substantial public interest) in conjunction with the Dutch Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing Act (Wwft).

Your BSN is processed only to the extent required by law under the Wwft and Article 87 GDPR in conjunction with the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (UAVG). We take additional measures to limit the processing of special categories of personal data, including:

  • Masking irrelevant data on copies of identity documents where possible
