The company EZOCM Engineering has a new machine cultured with which gold can be separated from silver and other metals in a much cleaner way. By making smart use of air pressure, the more volatile silver can be almost completely separated from gold, without the intervention of the environmentally harmful hydrochloric acid and nitric acid that gold mines use today to separate gold from silver and precious metals from the platinum group.
"This new technology has no counterpart anywhere in the world. It is a real innovation in the metal industry that we will offer and promote on the market from now on", explained Stanislav Chelnokov of EZOCM Engineering.
According to researcher Pavel Morozov, this new technology can significantly reduce the costs of purifying gold and greatly reduce production costs and emissions of harmful substances. The first version of their new machine has a capacity of 'several tens of kilograms' of gold ore and can separate about 98% of the gold from other metals in a time frame of 40 to 60 minutes.

Alexander Khlebnikov, the inventor of the machine, noted that this method of gold purification can be used in the preliminary phase of the purification process. Much of the gold can already be separated from other metals in this way, but another production process based on chlorine gas or royal water is still needed to further purify the gold to more than 99 percent purity.
The company has already presented its invention in June at a conference of the International Precious Metals Institute. According to the company, there was interest in the technology in more than twenty different countries, including Japan, India, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland, Germany and Italy.
The company aims to have the first machines ready by the end of this year. The company has already secured a strategic partnership with the Tau-en Samruk National Mining Company, a state-owned Kazakhstan company. This mine will add the machines to its production process.
