Golden Dutch 10 Euro

The Dutch gold ten Euro coin is minted in 6.72 grams of gold with a content of 900/1000, or 21.6 carat gold. Every year, one or more golden tenners are designed, minted and issued. The design of each gold tenner is constantly changing, making it a beloved collector's item among collectors of physical gold. The edition is also relatively low, so that the golden euro tenner really arouses interest among collectors and therefore has a higher value. These coins have been in circulation and are supplied in various years, depending on the supply.

The new golden Euro tenner has been minted since 2002 and is still being issued. The gold Euro coin is minted annually as commemorative coins for collectors with a unique design. With most Euro coins, both the front and back of the design are adjusted. In addition to the gold coins, silver coins of five euros are also minted. Depending on the year, one or more commemorative tenners have been issued.

The golden tenners were minted in limited editions. In 2002 and 2003 the circulation of the new golden Euro tentjes was up to 30,000 copies, the newer golden tenners from 2005 onwards only have a circulation of 2,000 to 8,000 copies. Below is an overview of the Dutch gold 10 Euro coins per year:

Why buy gold at Holland Gold?

Gold offers protection in times of inflation
Gold offers protection in times of inflation
In the long term, gold retains its value, while currencies lose a lot of purchasing power. An example of the value retention of gold is that 2,000 years ago you could buy a tailor-made suit for one gold coin and that is still the case today.
Gold is an insurance against a systemic risk
Gold is an insurance against a systemic risk
The gold reserves at central banks act as the backing of a money system. According to DNB, gold is an 'anchor of trust': "If the entire financial system collapses, the gold supply provides collateral to start over."
Gold is a mainstay in the investment portfolio

Gold strengthens the portfolio through its long-term returns and diversification. Its traditional role as a safe haven means that gold is an asset in times of crisis, moving in the opposite direction to the rest of the portfolio.
