Coins from the issuing years 1843, 1848, 1850 and 1851 are scarce to very scarce and have a higher value than the usual fives. The authenticity of these coins has been confirmed by NVMH numismatist. Due to the large number of minted fives, this gold coin is very popular, especially in the Netherlands.
