Mona Keijzer honest about corona time, failing governance, madness climate policy and possible blows to the EU

In this episode, Paul Buitink talks to Mona Keijzer, prime ministerial candidate BBB and former state secretary. At the beginning of the conversation, Mona returns to her resignation from the cabinet during the corona period.

Paul and Mona then talk about the increasing power of Brussels and the development of a transfer union. Mona sees this as a disastrous path that could lead to the EU's support base being blown up. Mona also believes that we as the Netherlands should have more say in important issues such as climate, immigration and nature.

Mona argues that climate action is going too far and we need to be careful about phasing out fossil energy because otherwise it will hurt the economy. Finally, they discuss the increasing government control that, according to Mona, undermines trust in democracy.
