Censorship X, Turkey's Important Role, Nord Stream Doubts, Housing Market Insights & Gold Record

In this monthly update, Yael Potjer talks to Frank Knopers of Geotrendlines about Nord Stream, Ukraine, BRICS, censorship, gas from Russia, the housing market, gold records and the stock market.

We discuss the Wall Street Journal article on Nord Stream. Frank casts doubt on the explanation in the article and suggests that the U.S. plays an important role. We also look at the developments in the war between Ukraine and Russia. Frank sees the recent Ukrainian attack as a desperate offensive to gain more support from Western allies.

Despite the conflict, European countries still receive gas from Russia. We look at the various pipelines and see that Turkey plays an important role in this. This while Turkey indicated this week that it wants to join the BRICS. Turkey seems to be cleverly playing interests off against each other. Is the West going to accept this?

We also talk about the blockade of X in Brazil and the increasing censorship from governments. Frank thinks authorities are worried about their control over the narrative and are now trying to silence dissidents.

Last month's update, we received the most responses about the housing market. We discuss why this is the case, the dichotomy in society, the failing government policy and a viewer question about investing surplus value. We note that house prices, measured in gold, are not that high at all. What does this say about our money, the euro?

Finally, we discuss the record highs of the gold price, the future expectations for gold, Warren Buffett, government bonds and the recent crash in the stock market.
