The International Monetary Fund (IMF) released 1.48 billion euros to Portugal last Monday. The IMF indicates that the implementation of the loan programme is being implemented well, despite the difficult circumstances. The final goal of 2012 remains within reach. The risks have not yet disappeared.
That is why the IMF continues to call on Portugal to reform the labour market, tackle the sharp rise in unemployment and strengthen tax collection.
