Lunar 2015 1 kilogram silver coin

The 1 kilo silver Lunar Goat 2015 coin was minted by The Perth Mint on the occasion of the Chinese New Year 2015 "the year of the Goat". Minted in one kilo (1,000 grams) and 99.9% pure silver, this silver coin comes in a protective hard plastic coin capsule. The silver Lunar is of interest to investors and collectors because of its limited mintage, high purity, and unique design.

The silver Lunar Goat 2015 coins are minted by The Perth Mint in Australia. The coin is legal tender in the country of origin and has a value of thirty Australian dollars. The design of the coin is changed every year and is based on the Chinese era. Like all the other coins of The Perth Mint, the Lunar Goat is available in a variety of sizes.

Muntoplage a kilo of silver Lunar goat 2015

The Perth Mint produces the silver Lunar goat in a coin mintage of up to 300,000 pieces of 1 kilo of coins. Production will cease when the print run is fully sold or comes to the end of the series.

The design of the Lunar Goat 2015

On February 10, 2015, the Chinese New Year starts and according to the Chinese calendar this is the year of the Goat. New Year's Eve in China is traditionally celebrated for three consecutive days. The Perth Mint traditionally reprints the Lunar coins every year, based on the twelve-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac. The birth years for the year of the goat are the following: 1919, 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, and 2015.

On the obverse of the coin is an image of Queen Elizabeth II and the intrinsic value of the coin: thirty Australian dollars. On the reverse of the coin is an image of a goat.

The kilo coins come in plastic coin capsules. These coin capsules are not necessarily completely shiny, despite the fact that they are delivered to us directly from the supplier.

Silver also offers protection in times of inflation

People think of silver as the poor man's gold, which is absolutely the wrong way to look at it. Gold has the most monetary character, but silver moves in times when a financial system is under pressure, at least as much as gold.
