The 20 Belgian Franc is a gold coin minted from 1831 to 1934. In addition to the Belgian Franc, there is also a Swiss Franc and a French Franc.

Only the first three Belgian Kings had golden Francs minted. The most recent is that of Leopold II, and there are also coins of King Leopold I and King Albert. These gold coins were minted from 1831 to 1934. In addition to the 20 Belgian Francs coins, there are also 10 Belgian Francs, 25 Belgian Francs, 40 Belgian Francs.

The gold 20 Francs Belgium is minted in 6.45 grams of gold with a purity of 91.66%, which means that it is 21.6 carats. The coin contains 5.8 grams of fine gold. The 20 franc Belgium has a diameter of 21.5 mm and was minted in Belgium from 1831 to 1934. The gold coins that are now on the market because of their gold value were minted from 1866 to 1909. On the obverse of the coin is an image of King Leopold with the text ''Roi des Belges''. On the back is the coat of arms of Belgium and the text ''Dieu Protégé La Belgique'' or ''God protect Belgium''. In addition to the 20 Francs of Belgium, copies of 10 Francs, 25 Francs and 40 Francs were also minted in various years.
