What is the difference between a minted and a cast gold bar?

The main difference between a cast gold bar and a minted gold bar lies in the production process. Because the manufacturing methods differ, the bars also have a different appearance and are sometimes packaged differently. However, this makes no difference for the buying or selling value: gold is gold. We apply the same purchase and selling prices for both types of gold bars.
