Koala 2023 1 kilogram silver coin

The Australian silver Koala has been one of the pillars of the Perth Mint since its first issuance in 2007. The coins are packed in a plastic capsule so that they can be easily stored.

On the coin side The coin depicts a baby koala sitting on its mother's back. The mother clings to a branch between eucalyptus leaves. This side also contains the year in which the coin was minted, its weight, purity, metal content and the words 'Australian Koala'.

On the main side of the coin we see Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by the face value of the coin and the words "Elizabeth II" and "Australia". The reign of Queen Elizabeth II can also be seen on this side.
