The bar displays the producer’s name Argor-Heraeus, the weight (10 grams), the purity (999.9), and the bar number. This number corresponds to the packaging, which also serves as a certificate of authenticity. The bar also bears the inscription ‘Melter Assayer’, confirming that its purity and weight have been officially verified and guaranteed by the Argor-Heraeus assayer. The 10 gram bar is a minted bar, meaning it is struck with a unique die.
