Jeroen Blokland start your own fund and bet on scarce assets in times of high debt

In this episode, Paul Buitink talks to Jeroen Blokland, founder of the newly introduced Blokland Smart Multi-Asset Fund. Jeroen is a former multi-asset portfolio manager at Robeco and explains why he has now started his own fund.

He is betting on a combination of quality stocks, physical gold and bitcoin. According to him, this is what distinguishes his fund from other funds. According to Jeroen, we live in a time of ever-increasing debt (in both good and bad economic times). He does not see this changing in the short term and therefore expects an increase in demand for scarce assets such as gold, bitcoin and quality stocks.
